Zipp Hub Recall

To valuable customers:
Sram is doing a worldwide Zipp Hub recall!
Zipp wheel with Zipp 88 V4, Zipp 88 V6, Zipp 88 V-7 or Zipp 88 V8 hub, are subjected to be recalled.

Please be advised that you should stop using the wheels immediately and bring it to the SRAM Hong Kong solo-distributor Wun Pang Bicycle Limited for recall procedure.

Estimate time for recall completion is about 14 working days. (Duration is subject to change due to certain circumstances)

Service - Related steps

Have to make sure the product is engraved with the original product number
Have to make sure theres a receipt of the product  
Serial number must be marked on the original document or receipt)
Together with the product purchase receipts, customer can enjoy the after service of the product 
If the product has not inscribed on the original product number,  regarded as bad products.  
It is not entitled to any of the products and services of SRAM.

Warranty Service

SRAM After Market’s (AM) warranty follow as such, the First-Hand Buyers’ SRAM product must be purchased at an authorize Hong Kong dealer, where the serial number of the product is presented clearly on the original receipt and on the product. The serial number on the product must be visible. At the same time the product is not damaged by any manmade action or improper usage. Only then will the product be entitle a 2-years limited warranty.
SRAM Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty follow as such that the First-hand buyer of SRAM product(s) is purchased as part of a complete bike set at an authorize Hong Kong dealer. While the product is not damaged by any manmade action or improper usage, it must also accompanied with the original receipt the product where the serial number of the bike frame is presented clearly. The serial number on the product must be visible. Only then will the product be entitle with 1-year limited warranty.

Maintenance services

SRAM (AM, OEM) service conclude when the First-Hand Buyer purchased a genuine SRAM product from an authorize Hong Kong dealer either as an individual part or as part of a complete bike set, while the product must be accompany with its original receipt presenting the products’ serial number (AM) or the serial number of the bike frame the product originated (OEM) in order to entitle warranty service. All serial number on the product must be visible. With warranty service customers may request maintenance and/or replacing parts, at the cost of the customer.

Service

SRAM (AM, OEM) repair follow as the product is damaged due to manmade action and/or parts in the product reach the end of its life span. Then as long as the First-Hand Buyer purchased a genuine SRAM product from an authorize Hong Kong dealer as either an individual part or as part of a complete bike set and the product must be accompany with its original receipt presenting the products’ serial number (AM) or the serial number of the bike frame the product originated (OEM). The serial number of the product must be visible. Then the product will entitle to repair service, at the cost of the customer.
Some circumstances where a SRAM product will lose any after sale warranty / service / repair
1. The product is not purchased at an authorize Hong Kong dealer
2. There is no visible serial number on the SRAM product
3. The SRAM product has been repaired at an unauthorized repair shop
4. Not able to present original receipt for the SRAM product
5. The SRAM product has been purchased for more than 4 years

First-hand buyers in Hong Kong FULCRUM designated distribution points are genuine products, also retain purchase receipts and serial number listed, non-human damage appears on the product features and quality of purchase, you will get two-year warranty (calculated from the product being send out from the factory ).
